1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ResumeForge platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), which constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and ResumeForge Pvt. Ltd. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including free users and premium subscribers. By creating an account or using any feature of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use this Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

2. Description of Service

ResumeForge is an online resume building platform that provides tools and features for creating professional resumes, cover letters, and related career documents. The Service includes, but is not limited to, an AI-powered resume editor, template gallery, ATS compatibility scoring, PDF and DOCX export functionality, public profile pages, and job matching tools.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content, with or without notice.

Certain features of the Service may be available only to premium subscribers who have paid the applicable subscription fee. Free users have access to a limited set of features as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to change the features available under each plan at any time, with reasonable notice to affected users.

We may offer third-party integrations or services within the ResumeForge platform. Your use of such third-party services is subject to the additional terms and privacy policies of those providers. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create a user account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your name and a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must not share your account credentials with any third party, nor may you use another person's account without their permission. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

You may register for an account using your email address or through Google authentication. By using Google authentication, you agree to Google's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. We may collect your Google profile information (name and email) as part of the registration process.

We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate your account if any information provided proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

4. User Content

As part of using the Service, you may submit, upload, or create content including but not limited to resume text, personal information, employment history, educational background, skills, cover letters, and profile photographs ("User Content"). You retain ownership of all User Content you submit to the Service.

By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license includes the right for our AI systems to analyze your User Content to provide resume suggestions, ATS scoring, and other features.

You represent and warrant that: (a) your User Content is accurate and does not contain false, misleading, or defamatory information; (b) your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of any third party; (c) you have obtained all necessary rights and consents to provide your User Content to us; and (d) your User Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

You acknowledge that other users or members of the public may view your public profile and resume content if you choose to make it publicly available. You are solely responsible for the information you choose to share publicly through the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, graphics, templates, and software, is the exclusive property of ResumeForge Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Our resume templates are designed and created by ResumeForge and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use within the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our templates or proprietary designs, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

The ResumeForge name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of ResumeForge Pvt. Ltd. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on the Service are the trademarks of their respective owners.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the Service ("Feedback") shall be the property of ResumeForge. We may use such Feedback without restriction, obligation, or compensation to you. You hereby irrevocably assign all right, title, and interest in any Feedback to us.

6. Payment Terms

ResumeForge offers premium subscription plans at prices listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) on our pricing page. Current pricing includes a monthly plan at Rs.199 per month and a yearly plan at Rs.1,499 per year. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment for premium subscriptions may be made through bank transfer, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or other payment methods as designated by us on the billing page. All payments must be made in full before your premium features are activated. We do not offer partial payments or payment plans.

For manual payment methods (bank transfer, JazzCash, EasyPaisa), your premium subscription will be activated only after we verify your payment receipt. Verification typically occurs within 12-24 hours during business days (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time). Weekend and holiday payments may take up to 48 hours to verify.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in the Refund Policy section. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. If we are unable to process your renewal payment, your account will revert to the free plan.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all new premium subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting our support team at [email protected] with your account email and payment details.

Refund requests made after the 7-day period will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We are not obligated to provide refunds for subscriptions that have been active for more than 7 days, except in cases where the Service has experienced a significant technical failure that prevents you from using premium features.

Refunds for manual payments (bank transfer, JazzCash, EasyPaisa) will be processed via the original payment method within 7-14 business days. We may require additional verification information before processing a refund. All refund decisions are at our sole discretion.

Unused subscription periods are not refundable. If you cancel your subscription before the end of a billing period, you will retain access to premium features until the end of that period, but no refund will be issued for the remaining days. Downgrading to the free plan takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ResumeForge Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

ResumeForge shall not be liable for any damages arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service; (d) any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code transmitted to or through the Service by any third party; or (e) any errors, mistakes, inaccuracies, or omissions in any content displayed on the Service.

The Service is provided for informational and career development purposes only. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in obtaining employment, interviews, or any specific career outcome. The ATS compatibility score and AI suggestions are provided as guidance tools and should not be considered as professional career advice.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of the Service exceed the total amount paid by you to ResumeForge during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or Rs.10,000 (ten thousand Pakistani Rupees), whichever is greater.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Service is as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and resume content. We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and usage patterns. This information is used to provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You acknowledge and accept this risk when using the Service.

We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, subject to confidentiality agreements. We will not sell your personal information to third parties. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected].

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account settings. Upon your request, we will deactivate your account and remove your personal information from our active servers within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain such information by law.

If you terminate your account while you have an active premium subscription, no refund will be provided for the remaining period. Your premium features will remain accessible until the end of the current billing period, after which your account and all associated data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification clauses, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting the updated Terms on our website and sending a notification to the email address associated with your account.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and request account deletion.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. The most current version of the Terms will always be posted on our website at /terms. The date of the most recent revision will be indicated at the top of the page.

For billing and payment inquiries, please include your account email address and transaction reference number in your communication. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours during business days.

For legal notices or formal correspondence, please send them to our registered business address in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Legal notices sent via email may not receive timely processing and should be followed up with physical mail.
